Privacy notice
Who is responsible
Connected Continents Press LLC, Wyoming, USA. Email: info@why-mexico.com.
What personal data we handle
This site has no forms, no accounts and no sign-up, and sets no cookies. The only personal data it handles are: the email address, name and message of anyone who writes to us; and, in our host's server logs, the IP address and time of each request. We collect no sensitive data.
Why
To answer messages you send us, and to keep the site secure. Neither purpose needs separate consent, and nothing is used for advertising or profiling.
Who else handles it
Our hosting provider, Namecheap, keeps the server logs on our behalf for security, under its own retention policy. Once the site is public, Plausible Analytics will count visits on our behalf; it reads each visit's IP address only to produce an anonymous daily count and does not store it. Whoever hosts our mailbox holds the messages you send us on our behalf; this notice will name that provider. We share your data with no one else and sell it to no one.
Visit counts
When the site is public we count visits with Plausible Analytics, which uses no cookies and stores no personal data or IP addresses; it gives us totals per page, never a profile of a visitor.
Your rights
You may ask to see your data, correct it, have it deleted, or object to its use, and you may withdraw any consent, by writing to info@why-mexico.com with your name, the email address concerned and what you want done. We may ask you to confirm your identity. We answer within 20 days and act on a request we accept within 15 days. In Mexico you may also go to the Secretaría Anticorrupción y Buen Gobierno, the federal authority for personal data protection.
Changes
Any change to this notice is published on this page with its date. Last updated 23 October 2026.
